Devon Marquees Kentrell Slaughter passed away in his sleep on

September 27, 2025. He was born on January 21, 2025 to Tyyonna Veney

and Ellva Slaughter Jr. During his 8 months, Devon was deeply loved and

brought immense joy and light to everyone he touched. Though our hearts

are broken, we will forever cherish the time we all had with our joyful, loving

baby boy. Devon was described as a Chubby, bright, radiant, bundle of joy.

He loved playing with his brother and cousins and enjoyed watching his

favorite show bubble guppies.

He is survived by his Parents Tyyonna Veney (Mother) and Ellva Slaughter

Jr. (Father). His siblings Dyzier Slaughter (Brother) and Elonie Slaughter

(Sister). His grandparents, Michelle Berger, Tiffany Smith, (Grandmothers)

and Tyrone Veney, Ellva Slaughter (grandfathers). His aunts, Carmicha

Berger (God Mother), Tatiana Barker, Zephaniah Moon Leslie Johnson,and

Kayanna Slaughter, Jennifer Gibson, Layiana Gore and Mikalya . His

Uncles, Desmond Berger, Calandus Mingle, Tyrone Veney Jr., Tyyonn

Veney, Ty'ezs Veney, Ty'meer Veney, Aj, Jaquel, James,Cam, Malaki

Puckett, Dvarious Elay, Damarion Moon, and Ebonee Robertson Edward
