Obituary

Janelle Charee Anthony and her twin Jasmine were born into this world On November 30, 1990 to Monique Taylor and Bernard Anthony. They arrived on the same day their great grandfather, Emanuel McCracken, passed away. Their uncle Joseph McCracken had a dream of a tree and on one of the branches of the tree sat a black bird. As the black bird flew away, in came two white birds to take the place of the black bird sitting on the branch. Black representing death, their great grandfather, and the white representing life, the twins. Jasmine, as you sit alone on your branch know that your twin sister will always be by your side.

Janelle attended Brookhaven High School, then went on to work at the Waffle House

starting in 2012. She was first a server, then went on to become a grill operator, and

more recently moved up to Rock Star Cook where she would work until the fall of 2024.

Janelle had a lot regulars that came in, not just for a meal, but more specifically, to see

her.

Janelle loved to sing and perform karaoke, one of her favorite songs being, "Beautiful".

She loved to spend quality family time and had a spirit that drew people in. She had a

way of making others feel special rather through a laugh, a song, a talk, or simply

being present. She always made time for her special nieces and nephews, who she

adored and loved more than anything.

Janelle is preceded in death by Great Grandmother Dolores Johnson, Great Grandmother Naomi

Brown, Great Grandfather John Brown Sr, Grandmother Nadine Sturdivant and Grandfather's Ronnie Taylor and Glenn Anthony.
