Lloyd E. Richards was born on February 1, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Sally Richards and El Lions. He peacefully departed this life on November 11, 2025.

Throughout his life, Lloyd enjoyed van-ins, playing dominos, and dancing. In the 1990s, he proudly owned and operated Soul to Soul on East Main and Gilbert, where he created a welcoming space filled with love, laughter, and community. Lloyd had a compassionate heart and was known for his generosity, especially his dedication to feeding the homeless and helping those in need. Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his family and making memories with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sally Richards and El Lions; Significant Other, Helen J. Kelly; sister, Ann Tynes; brother, Elmer Richards; daughters, Althea N. Kelly and Andrea Denise Richards, Brittney Robinson; son, Andre P. Richards Sr.; and grandchildren, Adonis Dalton II, Ricky A. Darthard Jr and Miracle Kelly.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughters, Yelonda (Charles) Masten, Katrina Twitty, Taleha Robinson, Iesha Robinson, Emani Robinson, and Cierra Robinson; sister, Ida Richards; brother, David Richards; grandchildren, Adonis (Rickyrah) Dalton Sr., Alexis Kelly, Cody Davis Jr, Reaiah Masten, Nahrae Masten, Andre Darthard, Ibreah Masten, Gabriel Masten, Kaniya Kelly, Jeavion Darthard, Andre Richards Jr, D'Andre Richards, Shantiaga Curry, Malik Curry, Alaysia Davis, Jamichael Yates, Jaleah Yates, Ares Robinson, Leon Robinson, Cashmere Robinson, Marquan Jones-Robinson; and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Kelly, Arianna Dalton, Gabriella Masten, Savion Augustine Jr., Cainan Powers, Sirenity Darthard and Lei'Lani Kelly-Wooden. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

His laughter, kindness, and love for family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
