Robert Antwaun Larome Booker was born on November 9, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio, to Shayne R. Nelson and Anthony W. Booker Sr. On August 26, 2026, Robert transitioned to his heavenly home, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, creativity, determination, and entrepreneurship.

Robert was a proud graduate of Marion-Franklin High School, graduating in May 2008 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a faithful member of El Beth-El Agapé Christian Center. He was a self-taught photographer, loved poetry writing and spoken word. He was inspired to write about things he saw and scripture he heard. He was a gifted entrepreneur with a creative spirit and a passion for creating opportunities. Robert expressed his creativity through photography, poetry, music, fashion, and business, including selling perfumes, cologne, personally designed tennis shoes, clothing, and other unique creations.

Robert also had a deep love for sports and enjoyed being involved in his community. He assisted with Little League football and proudly celebrated a championship football victory with the Knights. He also enjoyed playing flag football. His favorite teams were the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Mavericks. His competitive spirit, teamwork, and love for athletics were a reflection of the energy and determination he brought to everything he did. He also loved playing games online to connect with family and friends.

He had a giving heart and would share what he could with anyone. Robert's consideration of others was shown through many selfless acts done strictly from the pureness of his heart. He enjoyed going to parks to exercise and for peaceful walks to clear his mind.

Throughout his working years, Robert was employed at Art.com, also known as Trends, at John Glenn International Airport, and McLane. Wherever he worked and whatever he pursued, Robert brought his own personality, creativity, and determination. He was quick to master whatever task he was presented with.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Anthony W. Booker Sr.; bonus 2nd mother Tanya Howze, his grandparents, Robert and Alma Nelson and James and Eddie Booker; and his uncles, Curtis and Terry.

Robert leaves to cherish his beautiful memories his loving wife, Nina Booker; his mother, Shayne R. Nelson; his brother, Anthony W. Booker Jr.; his sister, Marquetta L. Nelson; and his bonus son, Jaydin, bonus siblings Tyrishia, Trondria, Cecil, Italia, bonus fathers Cecil Sr., Tommy Brown

He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, Aaliyah, Jaliauna, Mookie; great-niece, Natariah; nephews, Antonio and Aaron; and a host of aunts, including Shawna Robin, Ting, Pam, Charlene, Sharon, Jamia, Selena, and Antoinette.

He leaves behind a host of uncles, including Rome, Kevin, Keith, Bo, Dwayne, Tyrone, and James; extended family, including Martin, Neal, Gordon, and Thorpe, Suel along with a plethora of cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

Robert’s life touched many people in meaningful ways. His creativity, sense of humor, entrepreneurial spirit, love of life & family, passion for sports, and unique personality will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Though Robert has departed this life, the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he shared will never be forgotten. Robert will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
