Robert Cook Jr. was born to the late Robert Cook Sr and Lee Ellen Scott-Thomas on March 29, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. He confessed his love for Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church. He attended Linden McKinley High School. He worked for the City of Columbus, The Columbus Coat of Fabrics and Giffin Wheels. He was a very devoted and loving husband , grandfather,uncle, cousin and friend. He had a positive outlook on life and enjoyed taking care of his family.

Robert departed this life on Tuesday , April 1, 2025.He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cook Sr and Lee Ellen Scott-Thomas and stepfather Albert Thomas; sister Barbara Cook Reese; brother Roy Cook.

He leaves behind his loving wife (37 years) Delores Tuck-Cook , three sons Robert Kirk (Tasha), Marte Cook, Curtis Tuck. Mother in law, Rosie L. Tuck, grandkids Ariyonna Cook , Adrionna Cook , Tayonna Cook , Sasha Cook , Samyria Kirk , Shania Crumpton , Kahri Kirk , Shatasha Crumpton Columbus, Ohio; brother , Lanard Weems (Patricia) , Chicago Illinois , nieces Guyanna Reese , Passion Reese , Lisa Layne , Curtisa Tuck , Shanda Layne , Malika Jones , Harresha Jones , Monetta Jones Columbus, Ohio; Nephews , Royshaun Cook Jr , Larry Layne ( Tasha ) , aunts Elva Knox Columbus,Ohio, Mary Ellen Scott, Lancaster, California; Sister-in-laws, Debra Tuck and Mary Jones , Joann Taylor Huntsville AL. Columbus Ohio; brother-in-law , Archie Jones , Ronald Tuck ( Punchie), Shelly Tuck , Vernoll Tuck Gaston AL(Dorothy).
