Takeysha Lawnyae Burford was born on November 14,1975 to Janice Hale and Prince Kind in Columbus, Ohio.
Takeysha was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Takeysha loved everyone. She was quick to apologize even if she was right. She never went to bed without a call to say she loved you. You could count on her to show up when no one else would.
Blessed with 50 years of life she was called home on April 21, 2026.
Takeysha is preceded in death by her Mother-Janice Kaye Hale, Grandparents-LQ and Virginia McGowan; Uncles- LQ Jr, Charles, and Eric McGowan, Aunts-Sandra Faye and Kimberly McGowan and ex-husband Christopher Burford.
Takeysha leaves behind her Sons- Christopher Jordan and Christopher Devonte (Peyton) Burford, Father-Harvey Hale Sr, Siblings- Keyonna Twitty, Tiffany Taylor, Sondra Asare, Kim Taylor, Breonna Hale,Harvey Hale Jr, Austin Hale, Lanenia Kind, Lazinia(Michael) Kind, Lakisha (Del) Christian, Marvin Shows, Paul (Deb) Brand, Neville Brand. Special mention of Friend-Sister Lisa (Jake) Riley-Wellman and Long-term partner Latisha Jefferey along with ahost of relatives and friends.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven” ( Ecclesiastes 3:1) reminds us that mourning is a natural part of life, and God’s timing encompasses both sorrow and hope.
