Travis was a devoted father, loving son, partner, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. Those closest to him will remember his sense of humor, his loyalty, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about.
Travis was a proud graduate of Northland High School in 2009, where he participated in football and track. His love for football began early, starting little league football at the age of 6. Travis then went on to continue his football career by playing semi-professional football with the Columbus Gladiators, later playing with the Sabers, and most recently with the Columbus Fire. He also enjoyed flag football, always carrying his passion for the game.
Travis was deeply loved and supported by so many special people on and off the field.
He was preceded in death by his father, Travis T. Williams; grandmother, Carolyn Byrdsong; grandfather, Charles Byrdsong; grandmother, Joyce Newbern; cousin, William Roberts Byrdsong; and other dearly loved and missed family members.
Travis is survived by his beloved children, Tramya, Travis Jr., Deamonte, Janae, and Maurice, who were the center of his world; his long time partner, Staci; his mother, ReNay (Edwind); his brother, Wesley; his aunts, Charlanda (Keith), Carletta (Jeremiah), Charlene (Darrell), Mechelle, and Marlena Lacy; his nieces, Amira, Amari, and Amyla; and cousins, Tajee, Renesea, and Giovanni (Maryann), special grandma Jane and grandpa Lewis along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
