Tyeshon M. Ashford, age 29, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at The
Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital.
Tyeshon was born on October 18, 1996, in Columbia, South Carolina, at Richland Memorial Hospital. His
family later settled in Killeen, Texas, where he began his education at Brookhaven Elementary School
and Rancier Middle School, excelling academically. During his seventh-grade year, the family relocated
to Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Tyeshon continued his studies at Waggoner Road Junior High before attending
Reynoldsburg High School and Groveport Madison High School, where he proudly earned his high
school diploma.
Tyeshon had a vibrant spirit and a love for life that touched everyone who knew him. He was passionate
about freestyle dancing, playing football and basketball, and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed friendly
bets on games. A talented gamer and music enthusiast, Tyeshon poured his creativity into writing and
producing music that reflected life's experiences. His charismatic personality and radiant smile could light
up any room, and his greatest joy was making his mother proud.
Tyeshon is survived by his loving mother, Renee' Crews, and his two brothers, Stefon Crews and Khiyree
Sanders, all of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by his father, Limerick Ashford of Spartanburg,
South Carolina, and his siblings Keyoshia Ashford, Deyandra Ashford and Nasir Ashford, all of South
Carolina. Tyeshon leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many devoted
friends who were more like family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Carolyn Brazil; his maternal great-
grandparents, Emmitt and Naomi Dade; his great-uncles, Howard Dade, Gerald Dade, and George Quinn;
his great-aunt, Cheryl Dade; his paternal grandfather, Ernest Ashford; and his paternal great-grandmother,
Johnnie Mae Anderson.
Tyeshon's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the neurocritical care doctors, nurses,
and neurosurgeons at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital for their compassionate care
during his time there. The family is deeply touched by the outpouring of love, prayers, and generosity,
from kind messages and comforting meals to donations and heartfelt embraces. Your compassion has
carried us through our grief and reminded us that we are not walking this path alone.

special meaning to you.
Tyeshon will always be remembered for his infectious energy, boundless creativity, and his unwavering
love for family and friends. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
